Pool skills are carried out at Knowsley Leisure & Culture Park, Longview Drive, Huyton, L36 6EG. We meet every Thursday from 19.45 to 22.00. (At times we may use another pool due to events being held at Huyton pool). Here our new open water divers learn their scuba skills before going out into one of the inland quarries to complete their course. We also welcome experience divers to use the pool to practice skills and test new equipment in a safe environment.

We offer a range of PADI courses including technical diver training, please contact us for more informaion on technical courses.

First aid training is provided by our first aid instructor Paula Bunner who runs her own business teaching first aid she is also a PADI dive master.

Aquav Scuba Diving School also has a club called "AquaVenturers" where we welcome all new and qualified divers. The club often arranges a number of dives, dive excursions and fun social events throughout the year where you can meet new friends and dive buddies.

We welcome all qualified and none divers from the Liverpool city reagion and beyond, year round so you can train and learn at your own pace, we are committed to provide a high standard of diving skills and specialist PADITM courses.

Too cold to dive! we can conduct your classroom and pool work here in the UK and then you can complete your open water or advanced open water course abroad as a referral.

No equipment don’t worry we offer a rental service;

  • Full kit hire with drysuit £50*
  • *Any damage incurred to equipment will be chargeable

Self Reliant Diver

The buddy system is key when it comes to safe scuba diving, but the PADI self-reliant diver specialty teaches divers how to handle emergencies on their own.

Delayed Surface Marker Buoy

As you start to venture further afield with your diving, you will quickly learn the importance of alerting people on the surface to your position underwater.

Wreck Speciality

Learn to plan a wreck dives a see some of the worlds most famous dive sites for a unique experience.

Nitrox Speciality

Extend your bottom time and reduce your surface intervals with Nitrox once you've taken the PADI Enriched Air course. (class room course.)
