The PADI Rescue Diver course is extremely challenging and probably the most rewarding. Once you have completed this course you will probably say its the best course you have done.
The aim of the PADI Rescue Diver course is to make you a better and safer, diver and buddy. You learn to look beyond yourself to consider the safety and well-being of other divers.
The emphasis is on problem solving, but we also practise the correct response to a variety of possible scuba diving emergencies using various rescue techniques.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.
You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training course
Instructor may also offer the PADI Emergency Oxygen Providerspecialty diver course at the same time
WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY CERTIFICATION?
Not destroy reefs and make a fool out of yourself! Also, improve your skills for wall dives and wreck dives.
Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water or equivalent, 10 years or older
Hire of basic equipment needed, instructor and certification card
